Lump referral during Pandemic

Hello,

I've had a referral from my GP for a lump in my breast. I've received a letter and called the unit, which they said due to Covid -19 the clinic is not running at the moment. I completely understand this but just worried obviously as I don't know what this lump is and how long this is going to go on for.

Does anyone have any further information?

Many thanks in advance

  • I am in a similar situation. I couldn't wait and paid to go private today. Turns out I needed a ultrasound, mammogram and biopsy. They are concerned and I find out my results in a week. What is your lump like?

I can't believe this is happening in the middle of a pandemic.

  • I didn't think about going private to be honest, I will look into that now.

It's good you went and had it all done very quickly. Fingers crossed for you it's nothing serious.

Unfortunately I have very lumpy breasts so this isn't my first referal, however it just feels a lot larger than previous lumps.

I know it's a stressful situation normally without all this too.
