Hard pip size lump in breast.

Hi there, whilst taking my bra off I came across a small pip size hard lump in my left breast. The lump doesn't hurt or it don't move when touching.

Because the lump is so small I don't know what to do? And or if the dr would even see me about this.
Should I wait to see if the lump gets bigger?? or should I call the drs to double check? I don't want to waste the drs time as I'm sure their extra busy with the virus n all.

  • Hi Laul1115,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. With these sorts of things it's only really your doctor who can help, so do give them a call if you're concerned. Hopefully you can arrange a telephone appointment and if they want to see you about it they can advise. They will be best placed to advise.

Alternatively if you'd like to discuss with our nurses, you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5 - although please note they won't be able to diagnose.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben

  • Just found your post and hope you are safe and well. I have found something similar and spoke to my GP this week who has referred me to the specialist breast clinic.

    Hi Laul,

Welcome to our forum. I agree with the advice given by our moderator Ben. If there is anything untowward present, the sooner it is caught the better your outcome will be. You may need to explain to your GP'S receptionist why you need an urgent appointment, but after that you should get a chance to talk to your GP. Some doctors are just doing phone consultations, but most will see you if needed.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Fingers crossed for good news.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
