Risk of Covid 19 with ex cancer sufferers

My sister had non hodgkins lymphoma but after chemo and radiotherapy she has be clear for 18 years.  Is she more vulnerable to complications if she gets infected with the covid virus?

  • Hi,

If your sister has been clear for 18 years she won't be at any more risk than anyone else. It's those with immuno suppressed conditions or who have had chemo or immuno in the last 2 years who would find the virus harder to cope with.
