Hi and Hope Everyone is Well.
I started to experience pulsatile tinnitus in Jan 2019. There was a 1mm neck lump on left side and a 3mm one on right side of neck. Both are above the collarbone. The ultrasound dr (in March 2019) said they were both 'reactive' and both 3mm in size. A year later, the 1mm one is now 3mm and fixed (non-moving) and the 3mm one is now 8mm. The larger one moves freely.
I've not lost weight but am fatigued, sweat at night (but not drenched) and now have additional lumps under my jaw, one on each side. These ones are both 5mm in size. My Vit D is low at 20.
My GP referred me to ENT in September after I noticed a lump in my left nostril. It bleeds some days. My sense of smell is diminished and that side of my nose is constantly blocked.
I was seen by an ENT dr today who said my lumps + nasal congestion were nothing to worry about But why have the lumps increased in size and number? He put a camera tube down my nose and said everything was fine there also.
He gave me cream to put on the lump in my nose, which I've to use for 6 weeks.
Around 12 years ago, a sibling said they had Hodgkins (or non-Hodgkins, can't remember which). I thought it was another cry for attention and didn't believe this.
Now I'm not so sure. How do I get the ENT dr to take me seriously? I'm tired of fighting to get seen (referral was made in September!) and my GP is no use either. I've tried a couple of GPs.
The ENT dr said if the cream didn't take the nasal lump away, he'd then remove it but no talk of doing anything with the neck lumps. I've never been in hospital other than when i had my kids. I know something isn't right but I'm not being listened to.
