    Hi Clee,

Welcome to our forum. This is always a worrying time, but particularly so with the Coronavirus pandemic. The current precautions are understandable, as medics obviously have to prioritise  the cases that are presented to them and, at the moment COVID 19 takes priority over almost anything else. I am glad to hear that you have got an appointment for next Wednesday. Please try not to worry about this being a telephone consultation. This is being done for your safety and, that of the medical team that will be looking after you.

Some consultants are prescribing medication to try and slow down the rate of any growths until the ban on scans is lifted. I am sure that if your consultant suspects that you need more urgent attention, s/he may arrange to see you face-to-face.

Do please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

    arrange to see you face-to-face.
