Hello ladies my mom had a lumpectomy the end of January for calcium spots when the surgeon was operating they found an area of cancer 1.6 cm lobular cancer they delayed her follow up appointment as they advised her results was not back top and bottom of it is when she finally got her follow up with surgeon he confirmed the above and advised she needed an mri to confirm if it has spread lymph nodes ect and she will need another operation she has had a letter for the second week in April,  to me her operation was end of January mri to check spread not until second week April this seems way too long to me and could of spread more can anyone advise please ?
