I was due to start Radiotherapy yesterday,20th March.I got a call on Thursday,19th March informimg me that my appointment had been cancelled for fear of getting infected by coronavirus on the public transport system to the hospital.I was told that a new appointment will be made once the situation on coronavirus becomes clearer.Of course I was disappointed but also relieved that the cancellation decision was made both for my good as well as for the general public good.I am praying that this horrible virus will be defeated very soon so that I and many other cancer patients can get back to our scheduled treatment.
