I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. Undoubtedly this will have been a difficult time for you.
I'm unsure from your post if the abnormal skin problems were part of your diagnosis or if these are new concerns that you have. If you've not spoken to a Dr about these problems then please do get in touch with your GP, Consultant or specialist nurse.
