Emotional Rollercoaster

After visiting my GP in January with abdominal pain and vomitting, my GP advised me to go to hospital. I was given Codeine and something for the vomitting. Codeine made me very constipated. I had an Ultrasound and a CT Scan which both came back as clear. A week later, I returned to my GP as this continued and the pain was much worse. My GP suggested IBS, so I purchased over the counter products for IBS. The pain continued and I returned to hospital. the consultant suggested a Colonoscopy.

I had my Colonoscopy on Monday and was informed by the consultant, I have cancer in the large part of my bowel.

I am scared, emotional and my mind is in turmoil.

I have appointments for an MRI and a further CT scan to see if my lungs are affected.

I am trying so hard to remain positive, but I crumble easily. Anyone else feel the same way ?
