Blood test results and liver legion

Hi 

I don't know if anyone can help me please?

Ive now has two ultrasounds four days apart. Both have found something on my adrenal gland (2 x 3cm) and liver (2x2cm). The first ultrasound was quite positive and thought they looked benign. Today I had the second and the person doing it called a second person in to look. They refused to discuss what they thought they could see but said I needed to speak to my dr urgently and they'd send a report within half and hour. I'm sure speed isn't a good thing with the NHS! They had requested an urgent referral for suspected liver cancer.

I had blood tests the day before for full blood count, C reactive protein, liver function and bone profile. They all came back fine. Does anyone know if this is likely that they are fine and I could still have cancer? 
Sorry for the long post but I'm panicking so much. X

    Hello Tom22, 

    I hope you won't have to wait too long for your results. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to find out more. 

    I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

    I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you. 

    Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.
