Advise for lump in mouth and worried!

Hi just looking for advise if possible please. I've been having throat problems for a while now (6 months plus) sore throat feels like something is in the back of my throat and my tonsils are a little large but nothing major. Anyway I've woke this morning to find on the inside of my mouth (rear cheek area) a lump with a red dot in the middle. It doesn't hurt or anything but I'm really worried that all these symptoms have been leading to this and I've just brushed it off! My doctors is a nightmare to get in so before I wait 2 weeks any advise would be greatly  appreciated.
Thank you!

this is my first time posting on here so I've no idea if I've posted in the right area so I apologise if not.

  • Hi Hope,

I would put pressure on your doctor, tell them that you are worried and that you would like to be seen ASAP! I hope this gives you support to get this underway, you need to know.

    Regards,

    Steve.

  • Hi Hope, thanks for posting,

I'm sorry you have been having problems for 6 months now, but unfortunately neither the nurses or anyone on this forum will be able to diagnose you.

It is always good, if you notice a change in your body that is unusual for you, to make an appointment to see your GP and get checked out. They are are trained medical professionals who can properly assess you and decide what is going on.

Take care and hope that you can make an appointment soon.

    Sarah.
