3.2cm liver lesion found with ultrasound

Hi. I'm 45 years old and I've just been told yesterday that a lesion has been found on my liver. I've now got a hospital appointmnet with the gastric department in two days time. I have quite a bit of discomfort in my abdomen but no other symptoms. I'm so very worried about the diagnosis and prognosis. It sounds like a cliche, but you really never believe that these things can actually happen to you.

I'd really like to hear from anyone out there who is experiencing anything similar.

    I have recently gone for a MRI scan for an Abdominal scan and yesterday received the results showing that showed a mild dilated common bile duct a few subtle lesions in my liver and a few small pancreas cysts. And now waiting for an update of what ive got to face next.

    I have lost weight very fast in two weeks and I cannot eat a lot now ive been having shocking pain on and off .

    im only 45 and got 3 children so I'm scared as there's a history of it in my family, my mum died of liver and Pancreas cancer and my son who is 21 suffers with Pancreatitis and he's also got problems with his liver. So yes I'm very scared at this moment of what's to come.
