Lump Gone

Hiya, I'd just like some advice please. I'm 42, had a baby 3 years ago.
About 6 weeks ago I found a painless lump about an inch below my nipple, it was small, about 8mm maybe including the skin obvs and seemed to be at the end of a "tube", I'm assuming it's a duct? I fiddled with it on and off and it got bigger before my period, looked to have a yellowish tinge in the middle but the lump itself was a purple/pink colour. I tried to squeeze it and it blew up to about 2cm and was a bit sore. So I just left it alone and it went smaller and then completely disappeared about 10 days ago. I assumed it was a cyst or something.

this evening I'm getting little sharp shooting pains on and off in the same area, feels like someone's sticking a little tiny needle in me, if that makes sense.

I haven't been to the docs...guess I'm gonna have to go, was just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue?  TIA

    Hi Sally,

    Welcome to our forum.

I am sorry to hear about your symptoms. When you are still getting shooting pains in the area, it would be a good idea to see your GP and get it checked out.

I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer. Both felt like a small hard lump that was attached to tissue below it.

I hope that you get this looked at soon and, that it doesn't show up anything untoward. Please let us know how you get on.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
