Waiting for colonoscopy

hi

im a fifty year old woman

I’ve felt tired for ages and put it down to the menopause

I've had lots of contrasting symptoms including violent stomach cramps  runny stools pencil like stools

I had a lot of blood loss in July but I thought it was possibly the antibiotics I’ve been on .

I spoke to my dr in December

they asked if I had recent blood loss and I said no

so I was referred for a colonoscopy but not urgently

since then I have had two lots of bloody stools and my symptoms continue to vary between bowel emptying urgency , feeling my bowel isn’t emptying fully , stomach cramps , constipation and an itchy feeling .

i have a niece who had a bowel cancer diagnosis and my grandma died of ovarian cancer  too .

im not over thinking things and my appointment isn’t too far away now

my blood pressure is inexplicably high too .

any words of support

is there a familial link with ovarian cancer ?
