High CEA Worried

In April 2018 I celebrated my 71st birthday with an emergency Hartman's Procedure for Bowel Cancer. The diagnosis was Dukes Stage C, T4, with 1 lymph gland affected. 6 months of chemo followed. Peripheral Neuropathy was a long standing effect of chemo, but in January this year feeling better to the extent of walking at least 5K every day, and starting a Couch to 5 K programme to get me back to running. After my routine appointment with the Oncologist had a letter to say that my blood test showed a higher reading than normal, and my CT Scan is being brought forward (today). I was told that the CEA was 10, and that my previous ones were no higher than 3. I did not have a CEA before the operation. I understand that referrals due to high CEA produce 50% false positives, but a level of 10 without symptoms is suspicious. It does seem highly suggestive of liver mets. I can only take one stage at a time and await the outcome of the Multi Disciplinary Meeting, which will take place after the scan, but am worried.
