Hi 

I've had a call from my gp  last week saying my mri shows what looks like a 7mm tumour on the left side of the brain and he was reffering me to neurology.

I've had a letter today saying i've got an appointment in 6 1/2 weeks time, is this a normal timescale? i've been worried sick since the phone call

  • Hi Anne and welcome to the forum.

    Timescales can vary for numerous reasons but if you're worried it may be worth giving the neurology department a call to double check.

    I hope they're able to put your mind at ease but you're welcome to talk things through with our cancer nurses on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
