• Hello Miche84 and thanks for posting again,

Try not to worry about the helcobacter infection, it is one of the most common bacterial infections around and most people who have had it come to no harm. Millions of people around the world are infected with these bacteria and only very few (between 1 and 3 out of 100) go on to develop stomach cancer. You can read more about Helicobacter on our website at this link.

It doesn't sound like your GP is worried about your lumpy stomach so try not to let it worry you. I think your GP was explaining something called either a recti divarication or diastasis rectus. This occurs when the two sides of the abdominal muscles separate in pregnancy.  If you google either term along with 'NHS' you can find more information about it.

Give us a call if you want to talk anything over. We are around 9-5, Mon-Fri and our number is  Freephone 0808 800 4040 .

    Best wishes,

    Julia
