Wound infection

I'm new here so please be gentle. 

3 weeks post colorectal cancer open surgery - I am now on my 4th course of antibiotics and it's not getting any better. Feel great otherwise. 

Any good advice? GP did swab on Monday and we are still waiting for results - been a&e twice - seen GP twice!! This is really getting me down. 

Once I have this sorted I will be in need of further advice from you lovely people.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about the issues you've been experiencing, although it's good to hear you're feeling well apart from this.

    Unfortunately I'm not able to advise on this but if any other members have relevant experience to share then hopefully they'll be along soon.

    Or otherwise hopefully your GP can advise on the best way to ease this.

    As you say do feel free to use this forum as much as you'd like for support in future.

    Thanks Ben. I will definitely be needing support as I have been told I have lesions on my lungs that are going to need treatment. Awaiting PET scan and Bronchoscopy.

    Thank goodness I found this forum.
