Immunotherapy for melanoma - advice ??

Hi there to all of you on this forum who dont want to be here but we are.
Just wondered if anyone is in a similar situation to me - Melanoma stage 3 in lymph nodes but because of location deep in the groin I have not had surgical removal but opted for 4 courses of Ipilimumab /nivolumab and then I have had 8 courses of nivolumab. Latest scan 4 weeks ago showed slight enlargement of the 2 largest tumours but reduction in others. Awaiting clinic next week to see what the next step is - so once again thrown into the whirlwind. I try to get on with my life - there is no alternative - but it is hard - no-one knows our thoughts and feelings other than people who are in the same situation. Not sure if this forum is right for me as I tend to try to push things to the back of my mind but I though well here goes.
Wondered about other peoples response to immunotherapy for melanoma ?

    Hi carolco,

    I'm also a Stage 3 melanoma patient but I was diagnosed long before adjuvant drug treatments were made available to us. I was diagnosed 10 years ago & am lucky to still be here, fit & well with only surgery and regular check ups.

    I therefore can't give you any personal experence of immunotherapy but I do know other Stage 3 patients who are currently on it. I can give you some information but I will do so by private message..
