It is all too easy to get carried away to dark places with this hanging over you, yet there is no point in worrying until you know for certain that you have something to worry about. You are young to be having trouble like this, so hopefully there's a simpler explanation for your sumptoms. What ages are your children? You are bound to be worried for them, but even if the worst comes to the worst, cancer treatments have come on leaps and bounds in the past few years.

Heya today I went in for a appointment to be checked again and doctor has reffered me to a heamotoligist too although all my bloods a month ago were fine , he also asked for emergency bloods to be today and gave me antibiotics as they are so inflamed he’s not sure wether I have a infection .

my daughters are ages 7nearly 8 , 5 and 2

I'm glad to hear that you saw a doctor today and, that he has referred you to haemotology. I hope that the antibiotics help to reduce the pain and help things to settle down.

Your daughters are still very young, so I can understant your worries. Still, if there is anything amiss, the sooner you treat it the better your chaces will be.

Did your GP say how long you might need to wait for an appointment with haemotology? I hope that you don't have to wait too long.

And yes he said 1-2 weeks same as ultrasound x

Hi sorry for the late reply

so I had my ultrasound where I was informed they would take biopsy’s .

they told me they didn’t need to take any and that the fluid that was going through and around lymph nodes was normal and he was happy to discharge me .

which was great news !

but this morning I’ve had a letter asking me to go back for another scan and I have heamotoligist next week I’m so anxious

Your ultrasound results sound as good as they can get. Did they not give you any inkling that they wanted to do any further tests when you were there? It is strange to be discharged and then recalled so quickly. Did they say what type of scan they are bringing you back for and,when your scan would be?

This must feel like a real kick in the teeth having so recently told you that all was normal.

I am hoping and praying that, whatever further tests you have, they all turn out to be benign and, that you will shortly be able to celebrate this fact.

they were going to be doing biopsy’s I believe on my first appointment for the scan but the doctor said that I didn’t need them and he was happy with what he saw hence why I’m worried for the next scan as I’ve been called back in for another ultrasound scan on all lymph nodes again  

it’s so draining I just want it to be over already x
