Bipsy Result

Hi, 

Me and my wife are waiting for bipsy result from my wife chest.

She received her appointment last week to see a chest specialist on the 7th of Feb 2020. Her biopsy was done in  November 2019 (12 Weeks).

Does anyone waited that long for biopsy results. 

What that even means..... Why would she waited 12 weeks...

    I'm sorry to hear that your wife has had to wait so long for the results of her biopsy. I'm sure that it's been a difficult time for you both. 

    I'm unsure exactly why she has waited so long as there could be a number of reasons. It may be that the biopsy needed to be sent away for a specialist to look at it or that your wifes results needed to be discussed with other clinicians.

    Try to stay positive. Hopefully the appointment next week will bring the answers and reassurance that you've both been waiting for.
