Hi all,

So back in November I had my 3rd smear test with HPV so was referred for a colposcopy where they found a giant juicy polyp so removed that there and then and took a biopsy, was told that everything else looked ok and they would see me again in 12 months providing everything was ok with the biopsies. I got a phone call 2 weeks later and they wanted me to go back in and had loads more tests including an mri, hyperoscopy and blood tests. Just weeks after I was called back to tell me that I had two options to have the coil fitted or hysterectomy. I am 31 years old and not got any children yet and want to have children so I have now had the coil fitted. I have read quite a few posts on here and seen different results good and bad from the coil. The oncologist has also referred me to have an urgent gastric band as my bmi is very high. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how long did it take for your referral to come through? All this is so worrying for anyone with this diagnosis as you cant physically see what is going on in your body.
