Waiting for biopsy results

Hi.

i had a biopsy last Wednesday. The staff were lovely and made me an appointment for the following Wednesday, which is tomorrow. I'm worried now as I thought if things had come back ok that I would of had a phone call or letter to say I no longer need to come in to see the dr. 
is it normal procedure to have to go in if things are ok?

    Hi,

    Yes, it's normal for most consultants to give results, good or bad, face to face rather than by phone or letter. It's mainly so that, if the results are clear, that they can give you any more advice re future body checks etc and they give you the opportunity to ask any questions of them.
