Hi everyone.  Hands up - I am totally neurotic and now scared as well.  I have breast pain in my left breast - which is a burning pain and sometimes goes down my left arm.  Years ago I had breast implants which were a disaster and led to many operations on my breasts, the left one giving me massive bleeding problems.  Have had two previous episodes of left breast pain over the years - clear mammograms and ultrasounds but now that I am 66 years old, am wondering if my luck has run out.

I have an appointment to see a specialist on Thursday but don't know how I can survive mentally until then.  Yesterday I didn't wear a bra and I felt much better but in the night, had a sudden pain in the breast which really freaked me out.  Years ago I worked for doctors and you know what they say - a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing - that and Dr Google have convinced me I have a IBC which I know is the worst.  Anything words to help would be appreciated, although I know you are not doctors either ...
