Tiny spot size lump on breast

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has come accross same thing like me.  I found a tiny spot like lump inside my breast.  Is this something to be concerned about considering its so tiny?

I am 29 years old and have two kids.  No breast cancer in the family.

Thank you in advance

  • Hello Rusenaite

I'm sorry to hear that you're worried about a lump you've found recently. It's obviously concerning you so do make an appointment to see your GP who will be able to check it over and hopefully offer you some reassurance.

    Hi Rusenaite,

Welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear about the tiny lump you have found. I agree with Jenn, let your GP see it. If s/he is at all suspicious, they will refer you to the breast clinic. This usually only takes about 2 weeks, but should reduce your anxiety considerably.

I found a small lump in my breast 10 years ago. Unfortunately, it turned out to be cancerous. I had a lumpectomy and took Tamoxifen for 1 year. I then discovered another small lump in the same breast and was unlucky enough to have a second primary cancer. This time I had a double mastectomy followed by Letrozole for 6 years. I stopped taking the Letrozole in July 2017 and, still attend the clinic for an annual check up.

It is always worth catching cancer at an early stage, as it is easier to treat then. Having said this, only 1 person in every 8 referred will turn out to have breast cancer, so here's hoping that you'll be one of the lucky ones!

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
