Lump in neck for over 5 weeks

Hi everyone,

Just looking for some kind of advice I've had two lumps on the side of my neck for over 5 weeks now I've been to ENT and now am waiting for a MRI scan and I've had my bloods taken. I keep getting really bad headaches and fatigued but I don't know if that's just due to the stress and worry of finding out what is wrong. I have recently started to feel a third lump which has appeared also. Any tips on how to cope until results come back and tests have been had as I work full time and have a 5 years old everything seems to be getting on top of me.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health concerns recently which have needed investigating. We know from our members here that waiting for test results can be a very difficult period of time. It's natural to feel worried and overwhelmed by everything. 

    I know that others here would say to take things a day at a time - easier said than done sometimes but looking too far into the future will increase your anxiety. 

    It may help to talk things through with someone and if you'd like to speak to one of our nurses for some support then you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).

    Hi killy, 

    I feel like me and you are going through the same type of thing, I had a lump pop up about 2 months ago on my neck , then 2 others pop up on the other side, about 2 weeks ago another popped up in my stomach, I've been through alot of blood tests recently many coming up clear. Last Monday I had an ultrasound and then on Friday I had a ct scan. Hopefully this Friday I'll know more from my gp of the results. I've honestly got to the point where I no longer care what it is I just want to start feeling better. I've mainly just tried to keep myself of Google cause that will drive you wild, getting out of the house and try talking to your family. Just keep yourself busy and please don't go to Google it'll only drive you mad.

    I only have my lumps on the right side of my neck. I had a biopsy on the 15th and just received my result appointment on the 7th feb unless anything should change before hand. It's all happened so quickly. 
     

    Like you said it's just wanting to feel begged which is the main thing.
