Hi Patricia, yes I know how you feel, my husband has lung cancer and we've done chemotherapy and at my lowest ebb the chronic kidney function was the one that made me cry.  Plenty of water, food without salt and keep an eye on him, bully him into being proactive, mine hated water but drank it because I told him I wasn't giving in.  It wears us down but we have to do what's best, being kind didn't get me far. It's a long haul, we've managed nearly three years and this week it's been confirmed that it's grown back and now more than likely spread,  today we've been offered immunotherapy and have signed up for that.  Stay strong Patricia, look after yourself as well, don't get bigged down in it all, have some life away from cancer.  Join my Stay Strong page if you want to, we all boost each other along.  Take care, Carol x

yes we worked out a diet for him last night many of the things he loves to eat now have to be changed and he is on the water regime now. Thank you for your reply it does help to not feel so alone with this as he was diagnosed this time last year and since then it has been a roller coaster My husband is on immunotherapy already and it stopped the growth quickly I hope it works as well for your husband xxx

One thing I've learnt is that we are definately not alone with this battle and support is always out there. My Mum had a battle with cancer and now I completely understand the heartache and emotions it causes to the individual and the wider family. Always here for a chat! x
