Hi Ana,

I'm sorry to hear that your mum has been in hospital and, hope that she is better now. I am glad to hear that you are having no problems with Tamoxifen and, that you are already halfway through your radiotherapy.

Give in to your body when you are feeling tired. Many people have trouble with fatigue and, there is no point in fighting it. Just take a rest when you need to.

I hope that you continue to cope well with your radiotherapy.

Hi Anma,

Sorry to hear about your mum but good that she is on the mend now.

My results were good, clear margins and clear lymph nodes. My radiotherapy starts next Wednesday the 11th and then 15 sessions. I also started taking Letrozole 3 weeks ago which I will have to take for 5 years. Not been feeling well the last couple of days though, thought I had a cold coming on but now not so sure, my whole body aches, Ive got a headache and sore eyes and feel dizzy and tired, could be side effects... I've got a doctors app on Friday so I'll talk to them..

Hope your radiotheraphy continues to go well and you're not too sore. Are you working throughout?

Glad that all is clear and hopefully just a cold virus? 

I have 5 more radiotherapy sessions to go no side effects really but my breast is a bit red and can feel tender but on a grand scale of things I can deal with that. 

I have been signed off from work until end of March, I have 2 jobs and I do feel at times I could be at work but my doctor and family are against it so I'm trying to take it easy lol and listen to them. What about you, work wise?

Hi Anma,

Its good that your radiotherapy is going as well as can be, I'm told its so important to keep the area well moisturised throughout.

I work for myself so feel quite stressed about the lack of money coming in but I'm told my health is more important by family, which I know is true but the bills still need to be paid for. I'm thinking of starting with just a few hours maybe next week and see how I go.

Yeah it's like sunburn so moisturising is helping. 

Apparently fatigue can happen towards the end and after your treatment, understandable you need to return to work but take it easy and look after yourself.
