Hi all,
I had surgery last week to remove a small lump and 2 lymph nodes from my breast after it was found in October through my first mammogram.
It's been a rollercoaster of emotions since October, 2 biopsies, further mammograms, magseed implanted and then surgery... my poor boob!!
I'm now waiting on the results of the operation which i will receive this Friday. I'm feeling positive and hopeful that all will be good. I have been told there will be radiotherapy and hormone blockers as my follow up. Depending on the results as to whether i will need chemo.
I'm thankful that I had the mammogram as I or the breast doctor couldn't feel any lump. I'm currently feeling all the pain and discomfort of the surgery (and the numbness) but i know that will eventually get better.
Chin up to everyone going through the same or similar, we can do this
