Hi all,

I've decided to bite the bullet and chat to you all.

Over Christmas I discovered a lump in my armpit. At the time I dismissed it as hormones. It didn't go. Then my left breast felt increasingly heavier and uncomfortable.

On Thursday I went to see my gp who discovered 2 more lumps, and discoloration of my nipple. He has now referred me to have a mammogram and further tests within the next 2 weeks. I can't wear a bra as its uncomfortable so having to wear a crop top.

I'm 38 and have 2 daughters and 3 step kids (who live with their mum) everyone keeps saying the same thing. I know someone... , probably just fat cells as I've lost some weight, I'm now playing the waiting game.

I'm not worried about myself but I'm worried about the kids and my husband, GCSE's going on and I cant tell them. My eldest has autism and I cant tell her. At least until I know what it is?

Any advice would be great, I'm finding it uncomfortable painkillers not helping.
