Welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear about your symptoms. You are young to be having this sort of trouble. Some people have naturally lumpy breasts and cysts are not usually cancerous.

Start by asking for an urgent appointment with your GP. You may need to explain your symptoms to the receptionist to justify this. If your GP is at all concerned or suspicious, you will be referred to the breast clinic. You will usually get an appointment within 2 weeks.

Here, your consultant will discuss your symptoms, carry out a physical examination of your breasts and may then carry out further tests. It normally takes 1-2 weeks to get the results of these tests. This will then confirm or deny whether or not there is anything to be concerned about.

You have obviously been worried about this, but the sooner you get it investigated, the sooner you can stop worrying.
