Calcifications

HI

I had a  routine mammogram last year and calcifications were present, after my radiographer conferred with a colleague, she said it's not anything to worry about. They didn't do a biopsy or ask me to come back in a year. Just said they would call me in three years as normal. I've been worrying ever since. I just want to know if that is routine or should they have done a biopsy? I know in the US they call you back in a year just to check nothing has changed or do a biopsy. I do think that's more thorough but it doesn't seem to be the way we do things here. Just wondered if that was what most ladies experience.
