Most calcifications are normal, the specialists can tell what looks normal and which ones don't by looking at how they look and how they're clustered. They have decided yours are normal and don't need to be looked at every year, which is a good thing as you don't want to be subjected to unnecessary radiation that could increase your risk of cancer. Trust the experts they look at 100/1000s of images every year. Having had breast cancer I would be jumping with joy if told mine were normal.  So try not to worry x

If you are not happy with your diagnosis you have the right to ask for a second opinion, or you can speak to your GP about that. I think that cysts and calcifications in breasts are quite common, but I don't know if they can turn to cancer. I've had cysts in my breasts, twice, and each time was told they were nothing to worry about and that they would disappear, and they did, so no worries.

But I was also told that if a new one appeared I should still go to see my GP about it.
