Hello Miche84 and thanks for posting,
Many symtpoms like lumps and bumps turn out to be nothing to worry about, but it is good to see your doctor to get checked out if something like this persists. A lot of women who go to the breast clinics are given a clean bill of health, but just at the moment no one can guarantee that this will happen to you, so inevitably this is an unsettling time.
I assume your doctor took a look at the brown lines on your toenails and isn't concerned about them. If she was concerned or unsure then I think she would have referred you to the hospital. She may be thinking of a fungal nail infection which clippings can help to identify. Do talk this over with her to be sure.
I don't know what the lumps on your shins might be so you will need to show them to your doctor and ask, but they probably having nothing to do with the other lump or the way your toenails look.
Hopefully there is nothing serious going on, and these things will just be health scares that you can put behind you. For now, try not to let worry run away from you, and hold your nerve until your doctor or the clinic can tell you more.
Try not to look things up on line too much, it is only human nature, but it can cause more worry and keep it front of mind. Most people say distraction and staying busy is a better coping strategy.
Give us a ring if you want to talk anything over, our number is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and we are around from 9-5, Mon-Fri.
Wishing you the best,

Thanks for replying. I'm trying really hard not to let thoughts run away with me. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks i will no and fingers crossed there is nothing to serious to worry about.
Hi Miche84,
I feel much the same as you at the moment I think. I have just had an appointment at the breast clinic and I'm waiting for biopsy results. They said they think it's benign but can't be sure. She told me to think about that and nothing else but I am fearing the worst because I suddenly started to get a lot of pain in different parts of my body within the last couple of weeks. People are telling me it's stress causing the pain but it's so real I can't believe it. Like you I have pain in my left leg but also shoulders and back. Waiting for appointments and results this has been the longest and hardest of my life.
