Papillary breast cancer

Hi,

I'm 37years old with 2 young boys. I have been diagnosed this week with papillary breast cancer. It's in my breast and my Lymph. Waiting for further scans to ensure it hasn't spread elsewhere in my body. Having looked it up I understand it is a rare form of breast cancer and was wandering if anyone else has had a similar diagnosis?
still in shock. Thanks x

  • Hi [@KatyG]‍

I just found your post. I'm so sorry to hear your news I too have been diagnosed with Encapsulated Papillary Carcinoma on 16/01. I think it is the same as yours. My lymph node core biopsy was negative but the took four today along with having a Lumpectomy. My Surgeon was going to take two originally.  I have just posted details as I'm look for others with same diagnosis. As clear margins weren't able to be taken for checking as the lump is practically on my sternum just below right breast.

I hope you're ok (well as ok as any of us can be). I'm 46. And scared stiff. But here if you need to chat xx

  • Hi Katy

I just got diagnosed papillary breast cancer from my core biopsy today.  I will wait for another two weeks for MRI to check if it spreads or not. Have you done yours now? Any results yet? Totally shocked and don't know what shall I do now. I was 40 on this Monday.
