Small purple bruise-like mark on breast

Hi, 

I noticed a few days ago that a small purple bruise-like Mark has appeared just under my right breast. It doesn't hurt, and there is no swelling or raise....it's completely flat. There is no change to any other part of my breast(s), just this mark.
I'm 28 and have booked a doctors appointment next Thursday to get this checked, but just wanted to check if there is something I should be concerned about?

    If you don't mind me asking, did you get an answer about your bruise? I have a very similar thing and am trying to work out if it's worth seeing my GP.

    I was just wondering if I could ask both of you (BKL and bbell200o) how you got on with your respective issues?

    I caught a side view of myself in the mirror getting out of the shower this morning and spotted a round purple bruise on the outer side of my breast (about the size of a 5p piece). I haven't had any breast pain or any other changes, but I've no recollection of banging it or injuring it in any way,

    I'm a bit worried about it.
