Lumpy nose

Hi all,

so I discovered a lump on the side of my nose, near the bridge but down the side of my nose (if that makes sense). Also have a large lymph node in my groin (same side as nose lump). GP has been great and sending me for pelvic scan, ENT appt and dermo too. Lump on my nose is hard, under the skin , painless and doesn't move. Groin one is soft and moveable. Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of lumps? Does anyone know how long it takes to get results or if the ENT will be able to tell me if there's something to worry about there and then?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm glad to hear the doctor has been helpful. They may be able to give some guidance at the ENT appointment but if they do any tests then it will take a bit of time to get the results. You may wish to search this forum (using the button in the blue bar above) for any similar discussions from people who have had ENT referrals, in terms of helping you with what to expect.

    The time to get results varies depending on the location, the urgency and the waiting list, but from any tests you would likely be expected to get results within 1-3 weeks or so.

    I hope it's not too much longer for you until you find out more.
