New here with breast cancer

Hi all, I'm Heather. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 weeks ago. I'm American but living in rural Ireland and struggling to find a good support system. I will most likely have a double mastectomy after the new year. I would love to connect with women who have had or will have this surgery with reconstruction. My cancer is HER2 negative and lobular. I have a family history but tested BRCA neg. I am 44 years old with 2 sons aged 10 and 12. I am also going through a divorce so would love to hear from single women too. ️ ️

    Hi goldiemc sorry u have to find urself here on this forum but its great to find people who know what ur going thru i live in ireland aswell i was diagnosed end of march with stage 2b invasive ductal carcinoma i had 3 lumpectomys then mastectomy with reconstruction cause they cudnt get clear margins ive also got family history of cancer and am waiting on results of brca testing i had my overies and fallopian tubes removed last friday im 45 with 3 kids sorry to hear ur also going thru a divorce if u ever need to chat u can message me take care xx
