Raised CA125,but scan is ok

Hi I'm 48 years old and two weeks ago (22/11/19) I visited GP with left ovarian pain heavy bleeding and more regularly peeing more ect ect

GP sent me for bloods and ordered a scan

Bloods were done fri PM ,GP rang mon AM to go and see him,raised CA125 was up to 135

A scan was booked for following sat

Went for a scan sat and was called back sun

Appoint for consultant was for Thursday 5th dec so everything has happen so so quick (within less then 10 days)

Seen consultant on Thursday,hesaid scan and transvaginal scan are ok,but ordered urgent CT of chest abdomen and pelvis

I'm really worried but dont understand why my bloods are so high but scan appear ok?

I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with some health problems. It's good to hear that so far all your tests, apart from the raised CA125, have come back with no concerns.
I hope that you don't have to wait too long for the additional scans that the Consultant has requested and that the results come through quickly.
