Evening
I was put on the fast track referral due to rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, lump on stomach I had bloods done they sent me for an ultrasound because bloods showed issues with my liver. I was booked in for a colonoscopy yesterday. I requested sedation as gas n air makes me very ill. They started the procedure I was in so much pain, they made me change position several times but it was unbearable the dr was struggling to get the scope any further. They then stopped as I'd had maximum pain relief but the Dr couldn't continue because I was in agony. I've seen the report stating severe angulation and stiffening of sigmoid colon. Also it says
Clinically important comments: ? Abdominal mass, USS no further abnormality
Any ideas what these comments mean? I'm now really anxious as they said the consultant will make a decision on whether I need colonoscopy under GA or CT colonoscopy
I really don't want to go through the prep again as I struggled with the movi prep drink quite badly. Thank you for reading
