Hi everyone. 

4 months ago my problems started with left breast swelling (post menopausal so not due to hormone cycle), the chest wall itself painful to touch, and all discomfort centred on the nipple. No detectable lumps. My GP fasttracked me to the breast clinic, i was given a mammogram on both breasts which was clear, and sent home with no explanation or treatment.

4 mths later still the same! Have had to start wearing vest tops as a bra is too uncomfortable. There's no weeping or scaling of the nipple but its redder than usual + feels very strange. I think they should have followed up with an ultrasound at least. Cant get to see my own Gp for whole month, nor any other doctor for nearly a month. Unless i speak to triage nurse at surgery (again!) who might fit me in urgently with someone. But why would she if mammogram was clear ...

I've been left to worry about all this for 4months, its not gone away, and i dont understand why its there, or when it will go, or what it is. Very uncomfortable. Could it be Pagets breast cancer does anyone know.
