Feefee - any advice for cervical polyp removal

I am having cervical polyps removed on 23rd december it if meant to be general anistetic meant to be going home same day was wondering what the after affects of the operation will be as its so close to christmas and i have all my family christmas day was wondering do i cancel

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. Unfortunately I'm not sure what after effects are to be expected with this. It's of course up to you what you do, but it may be best to go ahead as it could be a bit of a wait for another appointment.

    However you may wish to speak to one of our nurses who will likely know more about any potential after effects - if so you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.
