Worried

Hi all I hope I'm okay posting on here, I'm wondering on other peoples experiences. I had severe abdominal pain 6weeks ago in hospital on morphine all day it was horrible never experienced pain like it.  The doctor put me on SAU as they suspected Gall bladder, however scan revealed that was clear.

Sent me home with pain management and put it down to bowel spasm. All that week it felt like I had recieved a good kicking tender abdomen and every step I could feel in pelvic region.

I went back to be refereed for full abdominal scan, had to wait till the 11 Novemebr that showed gall bladder and kidneys all fine.

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on pelvic scan as that wasnt requested, due to have that the 6th December.

But basically after the initial pain outburst as I can describe it I've now been left with a ball feeling in my low left side. I can feel it all the time, sat down stood up. It niggles with sharp pains every now and then but can feel a hardening there, pressure in hip when sat down or in nerve in leg when sat down. All other functions all working fine, periods on time as always. It's weird I worry all the time, my husband being supportive, but it's hard not to worry when you have 2 young boys too.

Also stupidly had my first smear at 30 and had high grade cells, had laser treatment and confirmed CIN3 however no call back for 3 year. Have due to symptoms requested early smear as due in Aug2020 but they wont test unless doc refers to gynaecological.

I realise it could be many a thing and till my scan wont no for definite. I just wondered other peoples experiences.

Sorry for my ramblings

  • Hi Scope,

I'm sorry you've had these symtoms but, as you say, we won't know until you've had the scan. There isn't much you can do until then so I would try not to worry, as it doesn't make waiting for the appointment go any quicker. The 6th December will come around before you know it and hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it.

    Best wishes,
