Found a lump had a mammogram then ultrasound then biopsy.consultant said lesion will need surgury and radiotherapy they are waiting result of biopsy.can they tell by ultrasound
I'm nowhere near the road your going down but just wanted to give you a virtual hug I found a lump under my right armpit a few weeks ago went to doctors and she gave me antibiotics as thought maybe a cyst but it's still there it's gone down a bit but I've got a solid lump top of breast I can feel very easily through the skin it's not painful and fixed to the tissue my shoulder aches so much too! She felt it the doctor and said my breast felt lumpy compared to other breast and told me to go back but I'm terrified! I'm 34 years old with 3 kids
They can tell a certain amount by ultrasound however they would still need the biopsy results to be 100% sure and find out what type of breast cancer it is plus what treatment a person would need. Think the consultant has jumped a little too far ahead in this case.
hi consultant has been amazing , the results came back as he thought I now have to have mri as its bigger than we first seen surgury was dec 4 now prob delayed until results are back
