hi everyone I just joined as I been reading ppl posts and everyone does the same google and think you have cancer , I had a terrible cough and found it hard to breathe so I phoned 111 to get some antibiotics my husband gave me this flu with a cough but mine was worse than his as I do smoke so they sent an ambulance and took me to ae 111 always think you having a heart attack , anyway they put me on oxygen give me steroids and antibiotics and done a x Ray they said ther was something sinister on bottom ov my lung he said it could be lung disease so he refer me to a lung specialist, he sent me for a ct scan he said it looks much better than my X-ray and my cough as gone as soon as I took the last antibiotics but he said I have enlarged lymph nodes in my lung so he said this could be from infection or lung cancer so I’m having a pet scan tomorrow and waiting for a biopsy and a lung function test he also tested my bloods for hiv anyone else have this done ? I’m just scared I only had a cough and now going threw all this .
