Hi all.

Just wanted to introduce myself after finding this amazing forum.

i'm 58 and just had 2 PSA results of 5.5 and 4.6.

consultant just rang and is arranging scan within next week and biopsies within next 2 -3 weeks.

its obviously a very worrying time but I have not had a diagnosis yet so all may be well.

i know I have enlarged prostate and this could be making the PSA tests high.

whats you guys experience of the biopsies?

i live in Oxfordshire and lucky to have a hospital not far away.

Does anyone know an average waiting time for biopsy results?
