Single mums and terminal cancer Advice?

Hi there, yesterday my friend with diagnosed with terminal cancer of the stomach and liver, she is also a single mum to a 6 year old girl, who is also in my sons class. What can i do to help? Where can i go to get her help?  As a class we haveing a whip round for her but i know this wont last long, she is on stat sick pay but is there somewhere i can reach out to help for supporting her until the inevitable.

Shes been given a 12-18 month window IF they allow her to start chemo.  Any advice on where to go or to speak would be super helpful. Her dad is pretty absent so it really is just my friend and her daughter. She has help from a brother but they all have to work pay bills etc too. Ive been up all night thinking about it. So this is what i am here for, I cant sit back and not help, especially if we are to keep things asnormal for her child as possible.

 Thanks in advance. x

  • Hi thars macmillan or Marie curie but alot of times things have to be done through a Dr or specialist, macmillan can help with money matters as well if you ring them for info, there no should be on there website or if you see any leaflets like in Dr's or hospital, best wishes.. Billy
