Still feeling in limbo I haven't had results yet but have had another appointment through with gynaecologist on the 9th March - not sure what for and when I rang doctors and the gynaecology ward they where unable to tell me either!

How are you doing have you had your results back?

Nope 3  weeks since my lletz treatment heard nothing how long did yours take to come back

it was 3 weeks yesterday since 2nd round of LLTEZ, rang consultants secretary to chase results, i was told I would have results at 3 weeks, I've had no response to my voicemail, I've been here before waiting for LLTEZ results having to chase consultants secretary etc so will continue chasing as I want to move on! Will post results when I get them! Infection cleared after antibiotics!

How are you? Are you waiting/chasing results? I understand waiting for results is a difficult time, I found the treatment easier than the waiting chasing results! Keep chasing them up with consultants secretary,  hope all is ok for you x

just like you still a waiting game 3 wks and 4 days 

people keep saying no news is good news but the consultant did say 4 weeks , apart from putting my life on hold I'm fine had no problems luckily after lletz ... i just want to know now if I have cancer or not so I can move on and stop this constant worry .. 

its so cruel !!

Hi, 6 weeks on Friday still not go results, spoke to colposcopy clinic and consultants secretary and was told they are not back yet, secretary said it might be down to short staff at the labs because of covid 19, i waited months 1st time round before covid 19, so im none the wiser and left with no option other than to keep chasing, has anyone else received results?

Have you had your results? I am so scared when I go they are going to say I have cancer.

Hi Bec... 

try not to worry I know it's easier said than done and I lost nearly half a stone worrying .. I went to colposcopy and that's reassuring they tell you exactly what they can see and what they think .. I went feb 11th got my results 21st march .. I had cin3 removed at an adequate depth and back to my GP surgery in august for a test to see if it's gone .. if you've been getting regular smear tests you should be fine it takes a while for the cells to develop into cancer and what you have is pre cancerous cells .. very very rarely do they ever find cancer from moderate cells .. 

so fingers crossed Bec !! When is your colposcopy spot you will be offered treatment there and then if they see anything it basically just feels like another smear it dosent hurt , or they will offer to take biopsys to confirm what stage the pre cancerous cells are at .. I personally just wanted it done there n then for peace of mind instead of waiting 4 weeks to then have to go back for lletz .. 

it's all still part of the screening process at this stage try not to worry .. I'm here if u need a chat xx

Girls and mom has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
