Hi
I had the same and visited GP today. Very helpful and referred for a scan. Should get a date in two weeks. Whatever just bite the bulletin and visit the doctor. They'll say nothing to worry about or scan and with that the earlier the better I guess so win win.
goid luck buddy

Go straight to the gp. You will be referred for a mamogram and/or ultrasound under the "2 week rule" so you will be checked very quickly.. although it still feels like ages, especially waiting for results orfurther tests.
Most lumps are benign, like cysts. But if you are "lucky" enough to find one before it is obvious, don't hesitate.
I had a similar sounding lump to yours in position and detection. I went to the gp the next day. THANK GOD.
I had my op 2 weeks ago (rough, but not as bad as I expected) and have just heard the tumour is all gone and the lymph nodes were clear. If I had waited, it might not have been such a happy story.
It is a daunting and scary time. Just remember that what ever that lump is, the sooner you find out, the better.
I wish you all the best and hope your "lump" is benign.
I saw my GP this morning and waiting for referral breast scan too. So we are going through this together. Feel free to chat if you need too. Honestly I would rather know, as I've been worrying for a few days now. I didn't know about two week rule. That is reassuring - Our NHS is wonderful!
I saw my GP this afternoon and have also been put in the two week wait....
attitude is that it’s better to know either way than to worry too much, but curiosity and obv a little bit of worry has led me to this forum/site..
wishing everyone the best of luck with their tests and if you are worried please go and see the GP.X
Let me know how it goes, I'll be thinking of you. To be honest I'm bricking it! Took myself to the gym last night, and cooked very sensible dinner. The first time in a couple of weeks, that I've been to the gym, and makes a change from ready meals! I decided the best way to deal with this is from fit and healthy, and anyway whatever happens I want to look good though it! Sounds daft but just my way of getting on with it. Tomorrow I'm booked into local spar. I haven't told anyone- just decided to spoil myself a little bit. Take care of yourself, however you need, even if that's a pack of biscutes on the sofa, sending love. Lisa x
Hey I too have a concerning lump in my right breast and my scan is booked for this Saturday. I'm hysterical and can't seem to get the idea of aggressive cancer out of my head
my gp didn't seem concerned but it's hard and immobile
I totally understand your feelings, just remind yourself 80% turn out to not be cancerous, try not to google, you don't know what you are dealing with till Saturday. I'll be thinking of you, I'm still waiting for the referral. Best of luck sweetie. I will be thinking of you. Let me know how it goes. You are not alone. Lisa
Best of luck to you too Lisa xx can I ask what your symptoms are? Xx
Hard lump upper right quadrant of left breast, painful. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard. I thought at first muscle pulled, but as it didn't get better went to GP, now I just wish I had gone sooner.
From what I've been told painful is a good sign
