Hi,
I hope you are all doing well! I am a male (27 years old), I experienced rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, fatigue and loose stools for quite sometime. This all began in February 2018 when I went on holiday where I ate something which I shouldn't have! I began bleeding and I took a ibuprofen (which I shouldn't have) and my body started shaking and I could not control it. I straight went into the hospital in Germany and they did tests (blood tests etc) everything came back normal...they asked if I wanted a camera test..but I said no as I had to pay due to not having insurance.
When I came back to the UK, I left an appointment at the GP and they said haemorrhoids and if it bleeds again come back. I was in the Hospital and GP numerous of times (blood tests, stool tests, urine tests - all clear) but they kept stating Haemorrhoids or piles. I said I want to be referred to a specialist and they did that.
I went to see a specialist at and they done a body and rectul scan (rigid sigmoidoscopy) they confirmed I have a anal fissure and a level 1 haemorrhoids and if it persists we need to do a flexi sigmoidoscopy.
I did have more pain but the pain is around groin area and I did the flexi sigmoidoscopy today which confirmed I have level 2 haemorrhoids and a skin tag.
Those of you that have these sort of symptoms try and stay away from Google and listen to your doctors! I keep reading numerous of story's which just gave me anxiety.
I wish you all well and hope all of you have a great weekend!
