Hi I wasat the hospital today due to finding a lump in my arm pit. My gp says it feels hard and quite large. The consultant said if they measure over 1cm they need to be removed why is this anyone .i am confused I need to go for a ultra sound
I'm afraid I'm unsure from your post what the GP and Consultant believe this lump may be and why you've been told that it may need to be removed.
Presumably you'll have another appointment after you've had the ultrasound so do ask the Dr then. Some members have found it helpful to write down any questions they have before attending the appointment so that they don't forget to ask.
