I think it's natural to be worried when hearing the word borderline but if you can, try not to overthink this or let your mind run away from you until you've found out more.

Hopefully some of our members who had a similar outcome from their pelvic ultrasounds will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

Sorry to jump on your post but I've had the same message like you- pelvic ultrasound- result borderline. Did you  find out what it means? If you don't mind me asking

My results were pretty simple. They said I had borderline cysts. I had three cysts in my left ovary, One of which was very small so of no concern and two were borderline and of slight concern and to be monitored. I have not been seen again since. So I assume they weren't too bothered by them.

Can you tell me how the transvaginal ultrasound was? I'm so scared and have mine on Tuesday 

I personally don't find it as uncomfortable as having the speculum for a smear. The worst part for me is having a full bladder for the transabdominal - especially if the appointments are running behind. I sit there in the waiting room wondering if I have time to wee and drink another litre before the appointment. 

Trans vaginally it hurt for me a little bit this time as I have a large ovarian cyst causing pressure but I had one two years ago and it didn't hurt at all. Even this time it was very bearable.

Just try and relax your muscles as much as possible and keep telling yourself it'll be over soon enough.

Will I have to wait long for the results in your experience?

I think it varies from what I've seen on here. My sonographer gave her opinion then and there but then my GP took a week and a half to go through it. 

When you have the ultrasound you could ask how the information will be passed on to your GP/Gynacologist and if it's email or fax you could always ring them the next day to check they received it and ask how long they think it'll be before you hear anything.
