Borderline Pelvic/Trans Vaginal Ultrasound

Hi,

I wonder if any of you have experienced the same as I am currently.

I've been having pelvic, abdominal, bowel and nausea/feeling full, dragging down my legs and backache symptoms for quite some time now. Probably around the last ten weeks. My periods have been spasmodic since I had a Mirena fitted in August '18.

I experience post-coital bleeding regularly and quite painful cramps during/after intercourse.

I visited my GP around 5 weeks ago. She ordered swabs and a pelvic examination, a CA125 test and a Pelvic Ultrasound.

The swabs were normal, the CA125 reading was 13, however I have been told today that the pelvic ultrasound is borderline. She booked me in urgently with my GP-Thursday is the next available appointment. I'm medically trained (as a Midwife), so as you can imagine, my mind is doing cartwheels.

Have any of you had a borderline PELVIC USS? What did it or does it mean? I'm trying to hope for the best with it being borderline, but in real terms I'm not sure what to think!

Any support you can offer whilst I'm sitting here driving myself insane, would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Jo
